Becky started her second week doing creative workshops learning about pattern. The girls came up with beautiful ideas and were so excited to be drawing using coloured pens and large pieces of paper.

We then set about thinking how we could paint a mural onto the outside of the new school building. Becky drew round all the different tools being used on site and encouraged the girls to make people, animals and vehicles using the different shapes.

Once the scene was set, we started painting! Everyone enjoyed joining in with this, it was so exciting to see the picture come to life on the wall.
“It was such a pleasure to do this project with the Swawou girls and teachers, they were so creative and enthusiastic. I loved mixing paint with them, to watch their joy mixing red and yellow as it turned into orange!” Becky Milling
